Shipping policy

 

Orders are processed, shipped, and delivered Monday through Friday only. While we endeavour to ship all online orders within 24 hours, it is possible that it will take anywhere from 2-5 business days (especially if you place an order on the weekend).

All orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, or on national holidays, will be processed the following business day. 

The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to undeliverable packages, including return to sender fees for future shipments. 

Please advise us prior to completing your order if you require expedited shipping -we will organize your shipping and payment separately and contact you for payment details. Alternatively, you can place an order and we will modify the shipping so long as you contact us for any changes before we ship it out (let us know immediately upon placing your order).

If you are located outside of Canada and want a shipping quote, please email us at granvilleislandtreasures@gmail.com and we will provide you with options. Be sure to include the item(s) you're interested in (as well as your address) so that we can provide you with the best possible shipping quote.

Packages within Canada are generally sent with tracking but not insurance. Please Let us know via email after check out if you would like to add insurance.

International shipping is sent without tracking or insurance, unless you let us know you want to pay extra for those services. We offer numerous options for international shipping and will find the most cost effective option to suit your timeline and budget.

We do not accept responsibility for packages lost in transit.

We do our best to automatically insure high value parcels (over $100) when possible, but it depends on the item. If you definitely want to purchase insurance (it’s approx. an additional $2-3 for every extra hundred dollars), please let us know as soon as you place the order. We also request a phone number with your order so that we may then include it on the parcel.

Please allow anywhere from 7 to 9 business days (in some instances it will be longer) for special orders to arrive in store. We will always confirm your special order with you upon order placement and give you an estimated time of arrival.
